Content and frequency
The newsletter will announce new articles, archive additions and printable editions. Updates will be grouped to avoid excessive messages; there is no fixed schedule or promise of one email per article. Consent will not be used for third-party promotions.
Subscription and language
Subscription will require an email address, language selection, an unchecked consent box and confirmation through the emailed link. Creating an account or accepting cookies does not subscribe you. Account-plus-newsletter access to reserved articles remains a proposed model awaiting legal review.
Withdrawal and its effects
Every newsletter will include a personal unsubscribe link. No sign-in or reason will be required. Your profile will also allow language changes and withdrawal. Your account and preferences will remain; if conditional access is approved, reserved reading access will end, while free articles will remain accessible.
