Data and purposes
We use your Firebase identifier, name, verified email and Google photo, where available, to manage your account. We do not receive your password. Article identifiers and ratings support your reading preferences. The newsletter will use your email, preferred language and records of consent, confirmation and withdrawal.
Lawful bases
Account and preference management provide the service you request. The newsletter requires separate affirmative consent and email confirmation; consent can be withdrawn. Minimal abuse prevention and consent records rely on legitimate interests and applicable obligations, without use for advertising.
Providers and recipients
This website uses Google Firebase for hosting, authentication and storage. Google sign-in follows Google’s own privacy information. Email delivery is not active; before registration opens, its provider, contracts and safeguards for any international transfers will be reviewed and identified. We will not share the mailing list for third-party advertising.
Retention
Account preferences remain until you delete them or request account deletion. Reading cookies last up to 180 days. Unconfirmed subscriptions expire after 48 hours. On withdrawal, your email is removed from the active list; minimal evidence is retained for the periods needed to address applicable liabilities.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent, using the contact above. We may request only information necessary to verify your identity. You can complain to the AEPD. We do not make automated decisions with legal effects on you.
